| 38894 | 2002-03-12 13:32:00 | I am running Win XP and have Award modular BIOS version4.51pg. My system does not restore properly from the standby mode, I beleive I have to upgrade my BIOS, can someone tell me where I can go in NZ to get this done. I have tried Unicore software in the US but they are quite difficult to deal with and I think that they are also very expensive, are there any other choices?? Thanks Jim |

| 38895 | 2002-03-12 14:09:00 | You're not looking at purchasing a new bios you should be looking at updating it. They are available for free. The only reason you would be buying a new bios is if you destroyed it with a problematic flash and have no way of restoring it. If you visit the manafacturer of your motherboards site they should have bios updates. |
