| 38858 | 2002-03-12 05:52:00 | hi all -i can't get my modem (Conexant HCF) & softwares - Bitware 3.3 & Ventafax to answer calls - just gives fax squeal whenever soneone calls. tried a Swann speed demon 56K external - mike & speaker plugged into modem-could ring someone & talk, but no one can ring me thru the modem-just squeals. tried on Win98 & 2000. tried all settings -but obviously missing something - any help really appreciated. |
