| 39073 | 2002-03-14 06:25:00 | No need to uninstall OE5 to get OE6, if you have the PCworld disk or know someone with it, then you could go with this option and install the upgrade to IE6, if you select the custom option you can then select the options you wants such as OE6. Another way which involves net time is the link below with the <> at each end. <windowsupdate.microsoft.com Follow that link, then click the tab at the left Product Updates and after a short time you will be offered various security updates and patches which is ticked by default and should be downloaded anyway if you want to keep your system upto date, scroll down the list of other options and see if a upgrade to IE6 and or OE6 is offered, click the link and follow the prompts. |
