| 39018 | 2002-03-13 11:52:00 | I have recently had Jetstart installed and have ni500 external modem. I will one day network to another (not yet purchased) computer so had this in mind when I had ADSL installed. I had network card installed in preparation for this. Now.... when I start computer I am prompted to add network password however I have never put one in, I simply get around this by clicking on 'cancel' and window loads. How can I prevent this 'password' option from appearing. Seems pointless (at this stage with only 1 computer) to have to enter when I simply press cancel anyway. | Guest (0) | ||

Also in networking properties, tell it to log on with windows family logon, instead of Microsoft networking. This link is good for password help. www.geocities.com When you do get networked, you still don't need a password, if you don't want to have one. |
