| 38970 | 2002-03-13 05:51:00 | Hi I have a 10x speed DVD rom and it has performed extremely well since my purchase of my computer in 2000. However after I installed 2 games, (AvP2 and Medal of Honour) these Icons appear instead of the ones that are supposed to appear when the cd's automatically run. It says that say sim golf is in my drive, yet there is a picture of a not so nice xenomorph. It doesnt seem to effect the performance, but its the little things that count. Any suggestions? |

| 38971 | 2002-03-13 07:12:00 | I had similar problems on Windows 95/98 but it didn't bother me so I never got round to fixing it. As long as the CDROM still worked I was fine with whatever icon they wanted to put leave there. I did try refreshing the screen a couple of times, sometimes it worked some other times it didn't. |

| 38972 | 2002-03-13 09:03:00 | Try right clicking on them, then properties, change icon and when the default icon comes up click ok> ok. That should refresh it back to the original icon. | Guest (0) | ||
