| 39289 | 2002-03-15 08:55:00 | Have two clients with the same problem on different types of machines. After setting up manually internet connections,found that extra characters had been added to password that had been saved. Deleted connection and did a new one with the same thing happening over and over. Only way to connect is to highlight password and type in proper one. Any help appreciated. Chris |

| 39290 | 2002-03-15 09:27:00 | Have they actually tried connecting to the internet with that password? They will probably find that it works. XP just displays extra characters in the password as a security measure, so that people can't see how many characters are in your password - it will still be the required password, just not displayed on screen. | Guest (0) | ||
