| 39280 | 2002-03-15 07:13:00 | If you are trying to shut down from a DOS prompt which was accessed directly through Windows that is illegal - go back to Win and shut down as usual from there. If you are shutting down Windows via the Restart in DOS Mode menu option just switch off from the DOS prompt when you are ready. | Guest (0) | ||
| 39281 | 2002-03-15 07:14:00 | Do you mean pure dos or emulated dos. as XP has an emulated dos, like you have to open it in windows, so there is no way of turning the puter off in dos that way but shuting down as usual. 2k Me an 98 are all the same, unless you have booted safe mode in dos prompt just hit the power button to turn off. | Guest (0) | ||
