The game, titled TRON 2.0 uses a new variation of the LithTech engine called triton and includes features like a third person camera perspective and a vehicle physics system used to create the exciting Light Cycle races. nVidia has snagged a big corporate deal for distribution of it's nForce chipsets. They have signed a deal with Compaq to ship their new Presario PC's with the chipsets. Here's a bit from the release:

ABIT have announced their MAX motherboard series. this new series of boards will be significant for their lack of Legacy devices such as PS/2 and serial connectors. Other features of the boards are 3-4 DIMM slots, 4-Channel UDMA 133 RAID, 6-Channel Audio, On-board 10/100 LAN, IEEE 1394a and USB 2.0, SoftMenu? III & Hardware Monitoring. Gamers Depot has posted an in-depth review of the Leadtek GF4 Ti4600 card. The review boasts that they were able to clock it up 15Mhz on the GPU and 50Mhz (DDR) on the memory. Here's the intro:

Creative have released new drivers for their video card range. The drivers are for Win9x/ME/2000/XP and update TNT, TNT2, GeForce, GeForce2, GeForce3 and GeForce4 cards. The drivers have the following changes:

Creative have released new WHQL drivers for their sound blaster live series. The new drivers are version 35.12, are for Windows XP and contain liveware 3. These are no usual drivers though, as they have been released for Compaq PC's but they will work for other systems. They fix the following:
HCT 10 RTM Midi Test failure
Fixes pop sound after resuming from hibernation
Fixes no sound problem after resuming from S3 Standby mode
Fixes center channel lost after resuming from S3 Standby mode
MP3 cannot continue playback from Standby mode

Just so people know, if they're wanting to download this driver... it's a whopping 334Mb in size, and will take approx 20 hours on dialup to download (if you've got a good connection!)

i'm gonna download it, but it's gonna take a couple of days, the rate I'll do it :)

Those drivers have got more code in them than Windows 95!!

And more than in Windows 98 if you do a compact install!!

Frankly, if I was going to download that much stuff, I'd make it an Operating System...
