39172 2002-03-14 10:06:00 I upgaded my win98se system to ie6 and my zone alarm firewall to 2.6. It ran fine for a few days until I had to reinstall some of my desktop utilities and restart the PC.
On restarting I got the message 'Invalid VxD dynamic link call from vsdata95(01) +00007c5e to device '028', service 8029.
Your system is ivalid please reinstall.
I've uninstalled zone alarm, and cleaned out its registry entries.
After that I tried installing sygate & tiny firewalls with the same invalid VxD crash occuring (vsdata95 bit changes). Is this software or hardware? Any fixes?

39173 2002-03-14 10:22:00 if the vsdata95 keeps causing bluescreens then delete the vsdata95.dll and clean the reg entries out for it.

it sounds like zonealarm deid or something has killed it. some virus are designed to try and kill firewalls.
