39134 2002-03-14 08:21:00 I have a Pavilion 6465 and just installed an ATI Radeon 7000 AGP video card. To do this, i had to disable the onboard video that came with the system. The BIOS is set to have AGP as it's primary Video.

In the Device Manager, it shows the Radeon 7000 as the Display Adapter and I can successfully test the video card for performance. Unfortunately, when I attempt to run software such as 'Serious Sam,' or 'Unreal Tournament' the screen pops black with a box that states, 'Self Diagnosis: PC Display settings correct?' (or something to that effect) I can't seem to get anything to be visible, yet I can hear the program running in the background.

I had installed a Diamond Viper II in this machine a few years ago and struggled with that also. It did, eventually work out very well in the end. That card NEVER gave me this problem.

PLEASE HELP! Thanx
