39126 2002-03-14 07:49:00 In Explorer go to the root dir eg C:\ ,right click on msdos.sys, choose properties, uncheck the read only box, click ok then right click again while holding down the shift key, choose open with and choose Notepad, find the line 'Bootfailsafe=0' and change it to ';Bootfailsafe=0' save and close then restore the read only attribute. You could delete the line but the file has to be a certain size and I don't know what else has been changed. Guest (0)
39127 2002-03-17 05:54:00 You culd also use the restore backup function in regclean.
I think you select backups then highlight the backup and click the restore button, should hopefully get u back to where u started.
