The ones that I have seen such as the Melody brand, and others, are in a stack of 25 or 50, but without protective covers. Dick Smith has the flexible thin plastic envelopes but they are 10 for $12.95 = a rip off! The 2 Dollar shops only have them in a wallet, and hard plastic covers are around a dollar each = the same as a CD. So what is a cheap source of protective covers (aside from folding paper origami-like and making your own)?? Thanks. | Guest (0)

| 39222 | 2002-03-15 03:14:00 | I make my own. I made an envelope template in Publisher and just change the text and print it off. A quick snip with the scissors and a swipe with the glue stick and...Voila! A customised, labelled cd sleeve. What's the point of spending all that dosh on a puter if you ain't gonna use the thing? | Guest (0) | ||

When I was still living in NZ, I got 500 sleeves from a music shop in chch for under $10, you will have to ask about as some won't sell them. | Guest (0)
| 39224 | 2002-03-15 07:52:00 | I got a beautiful little two-ring binder complete with a set of cd sleeves and coloured divider tabs from Denpasar, Bali, last year for just 11,400rp ($2.50). I am still kicking myself for not buying half a dozen more when I had the chance instead of thinking I could buy some more somewhere else if it was any good. Of course, I never saw any more anywhere else. Anyone going to Bali for a holiday this year.....? ;-) |
