| 39482 | 2002-03-17 01:16:00 | I have a new pc with xp pre-loaded, and am now wanting to load my 'Office 97 Small Business Edition' (Publisher etc.) (upgrade version) onto the new machine. (Note I stll have my old pc running the programs that are to be transferred (loaded) onto the new pc. The setup program stopped at a window stating that it could not confirm qualifying products listed on the Microsoft (Publisher 98) box and urged me not to exit setup. So new pc is still in that state. I have tried both my Windows 98 CD (also upgrade) and office 97 CD for XP to browse but seems still not able to find the required info. Can someone please help? |

Can't remember which is which, but one means upgrade and the other means new install. If one doesn't work, try the other (or better still, whatever your serial number is, use the alternative) Use the rest of the digits on your CD case as is. robo. |
