VIA has released a new AGP driver, version 4.10b which is Microsoft certified. The new driver has been designed to enhance performance under Windows XP and has been tested on a KT266A chipset motherboard with a GeForce 3, and Windows XP providing an extra 3 fps in Quake III and an extra 100 marks in 3D Mark 2001. Here's more:
Part of the 4 in 1 driver set is an AGP driver. The driver below is the AGP driver version 4.10b which is Microsoft certified. In due course it will be put into the next update of the 4 in 1 drivers. The version of the AGP driver in the current 4.37(a) 4 in 1 drivers is the 4.05c. This driver has been designed to enhance performance under Windows XP. Tested on a KT266A chipset motherboard with a GeForce 3, and WinXP, this driver provided an extra 3 fps in Quake III and an extra 100 marks in 3D Mark 2001. To install the driver click on the appropriate link. Choose the 'Save File' option and save it to your folder under Windows where you file your drivers. Unzip the file. CDFreaks has posted a preview of the upcoming new CloneCD. This is part of what they said:
CloneCD has undergone some major changes in the way it is used. The focus is now on Profiles and people/ users don't have to figure out the proper settings for each disc. A major advantage for less experienced users of course. The Profile-focus may be a little odd for experienced users but luckily you can still access the advanced settings.
You can read the rest over this way.<www.cdfreaks.com

nVidia has released their GF4 Ti demos for download. The big cross against these demos is that they require specific GF4 Ti OpenGL extensions to get the best optimised results so you may not see them to full effect if run on anything else. ATI cards are not supported. The demos are:
Wolfman
Squid
Tidepool
Grace
Bugs

DivX have released an update to the video player that is included in the DivX 5 bundle. The new version includes various fixes and can be applied over your existing installation. It includes the following:
Added user preferences that allow you to disable the startup splash screen and the startup version check.
Added error handling to the 'custom aspect ratio' dialog to prevent bad values from being entered.
Added a user preference that allows you to choose a specific playback mode for the application to start in when the application is started by double-clicking a video file (e.g., so you can have movies immediately begin playing in fullscreen mode after double-clicking a file).
Improved:
Improved audio handling in DivX 3.11a video files.
Improved the handling of third party MPEG-4 files. The MPEG-4 standard is huge, and version 2.0 Alpha had some problems parsing certain types of MPEG-4 files. We fixed these parsing and data handling issues. Our support for all MPEG-4 files will be an ongoing process. A remaining known issue is that we do not support MPEG- 4 files with multiple video streams.
Made some general performance improvements. These should smooth out playback on some systems.
Changed the startup version check and made it an asynchronous operation. The application will now respond to events while the version check is taking place.
Fixed:
Fixed a bug where the Player would instantly exit when opening a video file. This was caused by the built-in MP3 audio decoder we are using and how it was doing seeking.
Fixed a known issue where the resuming playback would be delayed when you paused and resumed playback on a video with no sound track.
Fixed a bug where hitting the escape key while the newsletter subscription dialog was displayed would freeze the application.
Fixed a known issue where files with the '~' character in their names would cause visual artifacts to be displayed next to the movie name in the GUI.
This is where you can Download the Update.<www.divx.com

Sounds like you need to move to Nelson... :)

Cool news though...

AGP 8X!! I've been waiting for about 2 years! Ever since AGP 4x was released more or less...

Any idea how many grand it's going to cost to get hold of something adorned with the P4X333?

:)
