Have recently installed IE6 and am being plagued with what I assume are called 'Pop ups' mainly an invite to download Macromedia stuff - at a rate of about 1 a minute. Is there a way to deal with it directly or do I need a downloaded Pop Up killer - if so can anyone recommend a freeware one ? |

Invitation to download Flash is normally because the site you are visiting is using Flash. Your homepage itself could be using Flash. So maybe it'll be better if you install flash or don't visit those sites? IMHO flash ain't that bad, Comet Cursor on the other hand is a curse. |
