| 39453 | 2002-03-16 18:49:00 | After about half an hour my monitor has a bit of a flicker.Sometimes the picture sort of drifts and the outer edges indent briefly. It is a Philips 107E 17'. I have checked the cabling etc. All seems OK. Any suggestions. |

| 39454 | 2002-03-17 00:09:00 | Also after doing a restart and system is loading windows the infoscreen with ram count etc flickered also. I thought it might have been a driver problem but not so sure now. Have reseated VGA card and will see if this helps. |

| 39455 | 2002-03-17 20:54:00 | Hello P H If the geometry of the picture shape is changing then this would only be the fault of inside the monitor itself, see if you can get it fixed under warranty if it still applies, before time runs out. All the computer sends to the monitor is the video signal (one of each primary color, red, green, blue) a fixed synchronization pulse for both the vertical and horizontal.(along with sometime used, monitor ident signal) All the picture geometry is done inside the monitor, that why you adjust height, width, etc at the monitor controls and not at the computer. |
