39453 2002-03-16 18:49:00 After about half an hour my monitor has a bit of a flicker.Sometimes the picture sort of drifts and the outer edges indent briefly.
It is a Philips 107E 17'. I have checked the cabling etc. All seems OK.
Any suggestions.

Have reseated VGA card and will see if this helps.

If the geometry of the picture shape is changing then this would only be the
fault of inside the monitor itself, see if you can get it fixed under
warranty if it still applies, before time runs out. All the computer sends
to the monitor is the video signal (one of each primary color, red, green,
blue) a fixed synchronization pulse for both the vertical and
horizontal.(along with sometime used, monitor ident signal) All the picture
geometry is done inside the monitor, that why you adjust height, width, etc
at the monitor controls and not at the computer.
