39391 2002-03-16 06:48:00 further to your reesponse to the question of whether or not two versions of IE can be run on the same machine, I would like to know if the same reply in the negative applies to running one version of any programme on one of two networked PC's and another version on the other.

You could get into difficulties if the two PCs share data in that application (like two different versions of Excel or Word). Even worse, you couldn?t use different versions of an accounting system where they share a database (like MYOB, QuickBooks, that sort of thing).
