39759 2002-03-19 08:10:00 Hi there,Recently I reinstalled windows 95 and now I get 2 error messages coming up on the screen. The first one says: Cannot find the file 'LPLOCKER' (or one of it's components) Make sure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.

When I click ok I get a 2nd error message saying: Could not load LPLOCKRT specified on the WIN. INI file make sure the file exists on our computer or remove the reference to it in the WIN INI file.

I have searced for the LPLOCKER file and can't find it. Can you please tell me how to remove these error messages.

Thanks Zan

39760 2002-03-19 21:54:00 To solve your problem follow these steps:

Click Start > Click Run > Type SYSEDIT > Click OK
Choose the WIN.INI file
Look for a reference to LPLOCKER on the load= line
(a) Remove the 'C:\LAUNCHPD\LPLOCKER.EXE', or
(b) Place a semicolon [;] at the beginning of the line:
;load=C:\LAUNCHPD\LPLOCKER.EXE
Click File > Click Save
