| 39712 | 2002-03-18 23:06:00 | Wonder if others have experienced this? After installing this prog. it appeared that e-mail was not actually being sent. The indications were that it was sent, but it wasn't as no responce was recieved and people denied having got it. It appeared to me that because it was scanned going out that the auto disconnect activated prior to the mail really going. I have disabled the hang up when completed and now manually do this, it seems to be working? Is there some setting to delay hang up to allow 2002 to do its thing? Brian |

| 39713 | 2002-03-19 09:02:00 | Brian, Open up the Norton main panel and click on 'Options', and then on 'Email' in the left panel. Make sure that there is a check next to 'Protects against timeouts ....'. Send yourself an email to see if it works. Good luck. |

| 39714 | 2002-03-19 23:12:00 | Brendan - Hi That was checked and I rechecked to hang up after sending and tried to send myself an e-mail. This failed as I never got it back. Thanks for the suggestion but it is obviously something else. Was talking to a freiend and he is having the same trouble, so I told him about doing the disconnect manually. Anyone else some clues on this problem? Brian |
