39673 2002-03-18 12:47:00 Does anyone know why the seti@home server has been offline(?) for some 36 hours? I cannot even get information from the server page let alone the main page. I know Berkeley has major problems but perhaps they are bigger than anticipated. Any information would be helpful as my programme spends half its life trying to connect. Thank you in anticipation Guest (0)

39675 2002-03-18 13:42:00 You say 36 days. Berkeley had a sudden log jam that started about mid Jan as far as I can ascertian. Their site even mentined that they didnt know why ;) But now nothing, not even a beep. Thanks for your info, anyonelse on this too? Guest (0)

39677 2002-03-19 12:46:00 For John W : dont know the answer to your question but I suspect you may be right. Try their FAQs.

For JM : Will have a look at this, thanks. My team is the My Stars User Group.

For Percy Porter : Yep, I am rolling again as well.

Fao all readers : Apparently their firewall caused problems (was it so good) that no one could get in (or out?).They were down for about 2 days.

Thanks to all for responding
