| 39872 | 2002-03-20 10:10:00 | i have a partial mp3 download that i cancelled straight away using morpheus preview. the prob is i cant delete it when ever i try it comes up saying eroor in deleting file it is being used by another person or programme the file is o bytes and im stuck on how to get rid of it any ideas? |

| 39873 | 2002-03-20 13:35:00 | If you still cant delete that file the next time u restart ur pc, then open up ur Command Prompt, switch it to that folder and delete it using the dos method. While u in the folder where that mp3 has stored, just type; del *.mp3 (*=file name) |

When I open command prompt it comes up with c:\documents and settings\mark k> The file is in my my documents folder how do I open the my documents folder? And then do I type del*.mp3 (*=file name) or delfilename.mp3? Sorry I don?t know much about command prompt And is there a way to write a compact version of the file name because it is quite long eg nelly?456.mp3? |
