| 39812 | 2002-03-20 00:15:00 | Since purchasing Nortons Systemworks, I regularly use Speed disk. Previously I would use windows defrag. Just curious but....is there any views out there which is better and if they supposedly do the same job, why is it (as an experiment) that I can run one after the other and the second run (defrag) appears to be moving blocks around as if it was never done by Speed disk. | Guest (0) | ||

| 39814 | 2002-03-20 03:57:00 | stay with speed disk its faster and more effective dont use more than one defrag program however . I use 2002 my self and find it very fast and effective , pays to set your virtual memory swap files to a certain size as this helps to optimise the hard drive |
