| 40158 | 2002-03-22 11:24:00 | I copied some self executable zip files to a CD with Adaptec DirectCD making it playable on any CD-R drive. The files open perfectly on my own CD-R drive , but when I tried to open them on my son's machine they would not open at all. I seem to have lost the note I made of the error window...grrrrr!, but it was something like 'Windows cannot run this file. It is not a valid Windows file.' Any one know what is going on here? Thanks for any comment....Ken | Guest (0) | ||

Next choice would be (and I mean this in the best possible taste) to read the EZCD Help. :-) A CD created with DirectCD will not be readable on a CD player older than (oh , about a couple of years) without installing a small program available with your EZCD program. The help file explains these choices quite well. Cheers, Alan Carpenter |
