1294350 2012-08-13 03:33:00 Hi,

I am trying to place a signature on my outgoing e mail-and nowhere in Windows Live Mail, can I see how.I have tried and cut and pasted one I could use,and tried to paste it in the same box ( this was designed by a son, and he said "just copy and paste"---yeah right !!

I have in that box a somewhat archaic sig.,that shows - that has to be "inserted"-which might be O K, but I often get a signature that is obviously automatically set before any message is typed and that is what I am after.

Anybody enlighten me?

1294351 2012-08-13 04:17:00 1. Open Windows Live Mail by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mail.

2. In the lower-left corner, click Mail.

3. In the upper-left corner, open the File menu, click Options, and then click Mail.

The Options dialog box appears.

4. Click the Signatures tab.

5. Under Signatures, click New.

6. Under Edit Signature, do one of the following:

In the Text box, enter your signature.

Click File, click Browse, select the text or HTML file that contains your signature, and then click Open.

7. Click OK.
