1294354 2012-08-13 02:13:00 Those dont look like crashes. Get bluescreen and see what that shows. If it crashed. See if there's a bugcheck error in event viewer somewhere. Try changing the DNS server ips for the network card, for the DNS timeout. It could be the Skype DNS servers are down Speedy Gonzales (78)
1294355 2012-08-13 02:40:00 1st two relate to software problems, ( not uncommon) the third one can mean a Hardware problem, either motherboard or HDD.

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1. Try changing the connection on the motherboard & or Cable. If its losing contact it will freeze and sometimes crash.

Had a customers PC the other day saying Controller error, as I was copying off his data the drive spat the dummy and died. Yet a HDD test the day before read fine.

1294357 2012-08-13 02:43:00 Is there a way to narrow down which software is causing the freezing? NZHawk (4093)
1294358 2012-08-13 03:21:00 Get ccleaner install it, then go to tools / uninstall tab. Click on save to text file. Copy and paste whats in there (whats installed) in here. Speedy Gonzales (78)

1294361 2012-08-13 03:53:00 Wouldnt be surprised if bitdefender is causing the DNS timeout. I would uninstall it.

What version of windows is installed?? If XP, this should fix this prob (www.microsoft.com). If its Vista or Win7, you cant do anything about it.

It looks like Bitdfender is crashing live mail

ok on BitDefender

are you saying with it being Win7 that even uninstalling BitDefender won't resolve the problem?
