1294064 2012-08-11 10:27:00 Friend asked me to look at her kids ancient HP mini. wasn't booting though HDD was dead as wasn't showing when I booted Puppy from a flash drive.

Anyway once had located the right manual was able to remove keyboard to find HDD had slid off its pins probably dropped. Pushed it back and it booted. Now how to tell them and make it sound impressive? :devil

Bugger, I would offer to trade trade secrets but I have had to give up my trade :lol: and since I don't start my new job until Tuesday this week I don't know if there are any secrets in it yet
