1293697 2012-08-09 05:46:00 That's strange, I have my Ccleaner's MS Anti-malware checked and yet my MSSE is working OK. bk T (215)

1293699 2012-08-09 11:47:00 Whoops I spoke too soon! :( Some hours after I unchecked in cCleaner....MSE reverted to suggesting that I am unprotected again...so that unfortunately..is not the solution grrrr:( smurf (6545)
1293700 2012-08-09 21:46:00 Have you tried to uninstall and re-install MSSE? bk T (215)
1293701 2012-08-09 22:53:00 My wife's pc has just been showing the same sign for MSE!

We have been these appartments for 3 weeks, out because our home is being repaired.

Son-in-law bought us WIFI thumb while here.

bk t is it safe to carry out your suggestion ?

1293702 2012-08-10 06:21:00 That shouldn't cause any problem, at least, not that I know of. bk T (215)
1293703 2012-08-10 07:09:00 Have uninstalled and reinstalled...and am now waiting to see what happens and if it solves the problem. No issues with the uninstall and reinstall. smurf (6545)

bk t, thanks. Took the risk and unistalled and re-installed MSE.

Kept telling me there were other anti virus running !!! not now tho.

Only thing the guru left on this pc is MalwareBytes, which she used to clean up my XP drive.

Won't tell wifey how to use that tho.
