| 1269325 | 2012-04-11 21:22:00 | I saw my first computer when I was in 5th form and even then I didn't get to actually use one until I left school and went to work | gary67 (56) | ||
| 1269326 | 2012-04-11 21:38:00 | We had a lab with 3 TRS80s in the 3rd form, and around 15 of us tried to use for 2 one hour classes a week. They upgraded to Apple IIe's at the end of the year, but Computer Studies was only optional at the time so we didn't get to use them until the 6th form. I know if tablets and the like were around as a kid we probably would've been playing games on them all the time, like we did on the Casio calculators! |

| 1269327 | 2012-04-11 22:42:00 | My first encounter with a computer was an IBM 1620 at Canterbury Uni in 1966. It was really only used for two things: shaking hands (it printed HELLO and the carriage moved back and forward!) and playing tunes (programming loops that caused whistles on a nearby radio) | BBCmicro (15761) | ||
