What a surprise.

Not.

The way I read the table though, it suggests the ARM edition will have some degree of Office functionality built in. I'm guessing that'll be little more than viewers and basic editting abilities, and betting Access won't be included.

1270478 2012-04-17 03:21:00 Looks like Mail will be included this time around. Bobh (5192)
1270479 2012-04-17 03:29:00 They better fix the mail program, if it's just live mail with some fancy clothes people are not gonna be happy. :p wratterus (105)
1270480 2012-04-17 04:09:00 They could bring back windows mail, the best thing about Vista IMO. dugimodo (138)
1270481 2012-04-17 04:13:00 Get a copy of the x86 or x64 mail folders from Vista and use it in Win7. It can be done. But theres a few tweaks / reg hacks you have to run first. Ive got the files here, as well as the Vista x64 files Speedy Gonzales (78)
1270482 2012-04-17 04:35:00 What's wrong with Windows Live Mail? Seems better than Thunderbird... :illogical

As for the name, I was hoping for something with a little more... er, "oomph". :stare:

1270484 2012-04-17 07:16:00 After playing around with Win 8cp for a total of about 24 hours I always ask myself would I use this on a desktop over win 7 and the answer is no

Even installing Classic Shell start menu I would not use Metro as it is only applicable to a tablet

As it matures I can see it fitting in with emerging tech though
