1270057 2012-04-14 10:53:00 Just watched Gary Moore Live at Montreux 2010 DVD. Great concert. I had forgotten he had died and found the thread about him dying. I even posted in it that I hadn't heard of him. Great guitarist. For those who don't remember he died of a massive heart attack in February 2011 from consuming huge amouts of alcohol while on holiday in Spain. Just bought the DVD today and a couple of weeks ago bought a cd of his called Gary Moore, Out In The Fields, the very best of.

Not not about the green party but an album dedicated to the late Peter Green, others to look for are
Still got the blues
Wild Frontier

The version of Parisienne Walkways on Ballads and Blues is an outstanding performance

That should keep you going for a while

Also have a look on youtube for Cliff Moore his brother equally as talented but virtually unknown

1270061 2012-04-15 05:42:00 He was on a couple of Thin Lizzy albums, namely "Still In Love With You" on Nightlife - Robbo refused to re-record Gary's solo after Moore had split, and Black Rose. Can't go wrong with any of his albums, apart from A Different Beat which is fairly horrendous.

Joe Bonamassa added Midnight Blues to his set as a tribute: youtu.be
