This would be lots funnier if it wasn't so true ------------ and sad .

North Korea made its claim during an unprecedented media blitz to international news outlets . (Ho - hum :sleep)

North Korea's claim justifying a planned rocket launch that the isolated country merely wants to put a weather satellite in orbit was denounced on Tuesday by the White House, which dismissed the claim by saying North Korea should just "go to weather . com . "

Ryu Gum Chol - not speaking to Upsidedown Landers - says: "Youse guys gotz one - we wants one too" . :p

The U . S . National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor responded in an emailed statement to reporters, including NBC's White House Correspondent Kristen Welker . Vietor wrote "You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know this is propaganda," Vietor said . "North Korea is trying to advance, test and show off its ballistic missile technology . The U . N . bans this activity, which is why they're using the press to pretend it's a satellite launch . "

"North Korea doesn’t need to spend this kind of money on a weather satellite . Go to weather . com," Vietor continued . "Reporters visiting North Korea just to cover this launch are missing the real story -- history is passing North Korea by, and millions of innocent people are starving to death because the regime spends all its money on weapons . "

Next month to commemorate the death of Exalted Leader and Room Temperature Soul Benevolent Premier - there will be a fireworks show over the South Pacific (directly over ChCh) using three Mega Tons of Chinese fireworks that were traded for forty metric tons of rice and pigs .

"The fuel for the rocket is dynamite, which if it doesn't get wet usually works . The whole world's invited to see that we are just in the pyrotechnics business and we are NOT testing nuclear warheads" said Ryu Gum Chol . "No sheep will be injured in this test" he said in leaving the television cameras .

Security was increased at the Pyongyang North Korean launch facility as people are trying to ride the rocket in attempt to find a good meal by escaping to somewhere (anywhere) else .

In other news: Ryu Gum Chol has taken a new national motto to advertise the physical fitness and prowess of North Korean citizens: "NO FAT NORTH KOREANS" It seems to be working .
