I have no issue in principle with compensation, but I have a very, very big issue with "full and final" not meaning that, and with the seemingly neverending list of new claims. All treaty claims should have been finalised years ago, without any future hooks or taxpayer liabilities, and any new claims should simply be disallowed. They've had ample time to sort this out already, and I do not believe it should continue to drag on the way it has. |
