40456	2002-03-25 12:26:00	You can access DOS in ME by following 'My Computer>'C'>Windows and looking for the funny looking icon named 'DOSPRMPT' Right click it & create a shortcut to the desktop. I work in dos a lot and find this suitable for most of my needs. But if you want a full blown DOS only session, there are several different patches you can download to do this. Can't remember where they are but if you type DOS & ME into a google search box it will find them for you.	Guest (0)
40457	2002-03-25 13:20:00	You can boot into dos mode by following these instructions... Open Control panel and click on Add/Remove Programs. Under the windows components tab you can opt to dreate an emergency boot disc. Create this disc, and restart your computer with the disk in the drive. When your computer restarts hold down the key stated to enter setup (usually delete) Go into standard settings and make floppy disc the first boot device, and your hard disc second. Save your options. The above steps only need to be completed the first time. Your computer will reboot using the disc, and go into dos. Any problems, reply to this post, and I will help you out.
