| 40635 | 2002-03-27 05:07:00 | Is this a silly question or what? I have noted the recent advice in Press F1 to run Scandisk before Defragging but for the life of me I can't find Scandisk in any of the menus and it's not even mentioned in Osborne's 'Complete Reference to Windows 2000'. Does it exist in W2K? Thanks, Michael. |

I tried it, but it will only run on a reboot (or perhaps in safe mode) Classic Microsoft, take a well known tool, rename it something arcane then hide it where the sun don't shine! Press F1 triumphs again (unless somebody wants to tell me I'm deluded again). Michael |
