40830 2002-03-29 01:07:00 I want to lock my browser favourites and remember seeing a FREE program to do this, but usual story... when I want to find it I can't. I think it was called favlock or something similar but even when using Google I didn't have any luck finding it. Can you help? Thanks. Guest (0)

There is a couple of programs starting with 'fav' youcan download but not sure whether thats what you want to actually use.

40832 2002-03-31 21:06:00 In my opinion, the best solution is for you to encrypt the entire Favorites (bookmarks) folder. Download 'Cryptext' from CNET.COM - download section - it is a free program and is easy to use. Place a shortcut to Windows (where the favorites folder is) so you can quickly decrypt when you need to. BTW, I searched around for a bookmark manager as you described but no luck. Guest (0)
