| 40851 | 2002-03-29 06:24:00 | Hi, Does anyone know of an Excel formula for converting 'Dates' into the relevant 'Day of the Week'? I have a spreadsheet with a lot of cells containing 'dates', eg 25/03/02. These dates are random and not sequential. I would like to know exactly what day of the week these cells relate to, by using a simple formula and not having to manually refer to a calender. Thanks Mike H Taupo |

Clcik 'Format' then 'Cells' and select the correct format under the dates item or create your own. JM |
