| 41197 | 2002-04-01 01:06:00 | Using windows Me.. After scanning pics to 'My Pictures' the thumbnail view is distorted. Viewing the same pics in ACDSee the thumnails are perfect. Tried everything, can someone help...thanks |

| 41198 | 2002-04-01 01:25:00 | Do you think that it could be that you have a high quality and most likely very large .jpg file (300-400kb)? You are then trying to fit all that information into a size that is some 50 times smaller than the original. It is any wonder that the image is distorted and the pixels have overrun each other. Try with a lower quality pic and see what happens. I could be wrong though. | Guest (0) | ||
| 41199 | 2002-04-01 03:24:00 | Thanks for comments Scooter.. Tried another scan, same result distorted: properties of scan jpeg 65.1KB, width 875, height 601, h res 75, vert res 75 bit depth 24. Not all scans have gone this way but of late the problem is there.( There is no way to size the scan result in Scan It for the HP 5p scan jet.) Is it possible to use ACDSee to come up to show the thumbnails in My Pictures? Thanks again for your interest. Russell |
