41133 2002-03-31 10:32:00 My m/b says it has 2X & 4X AGP(aperture adjustable from 64mb up). It has onboard video. But I don't see an AGP slot?

Does this sound familiar?

The question: if I have AGP does that mean I should have an AGP slot?

41134 2002-03-31 10:55:00 AGP = Avanced Graphics Port

the settings are for the AGP bus, that does not mean there has to be a physical slot.

41135 2002-03-31 22:42:00 My MB is the same - on-board AGP graphics but no agp port. In fact, I have only one PCI port (Everything is on-board) so there is no way to upgrade the graphics at all (PCI graphics cards are a rare breed these days)- a real pain. The lesson I learnt - don't buy an 'integrated' mother board system (they're not always a cheap system either), it's virtually impossible to upgrade. Guest (0)
