41331 2002-04-01 23:19:00 My Genius Colorpage-view Scanner calls it's files Kye, I can't find any with Kyescan, but I do have Kye32.exe . Anyway if you have a genius scanner perhaps you could look in that direction? Guest (0)
41332 2002-04-02 02:14:00 Now then - I've confronted this sort of problem before. Basically your device has reverted from an un-animated piece of componentry, to an animated hybrid. This reverse metamorphasis is evident by the wailing you've so faithfully recorded: '00000000 00000001 00000000' etc - this translated into English is 'oooooooo ooooooo-i ooooooooo' which sounds like an incredible sound of pain. Probably caused by the elctric current running through it. Poor thing. So to simply alleviate it's discomfort, remedy the problem and never confront the message again, your best advice is... to switch the damn thing off!

It's a bit like removing a splinter - don't learn how to deal with the pain - remove the source! (1st quoted by me!) haha

41333 2002-04-02 02:17:00 I found a keyboard sort of hacking/remapping program called Keyscan.exe but no kyescan.exe.

If it is this keyscan.exe you may need to remove it as its used to remap the keyboard which windows in some cases may not like.

It appears to be related to Mame the emulator program as well so if you are running Mame try updating it.
