| 41556 | 2002-04-03 07:16:00 | Hi, This is my first F1 posting so please be gentle if this question seems overly simplistic. I work very hard to place the icons on my desktop where I want them, and then for some reason they will shift them around. Is there any way to make them stay put?? |

| 41558 | 2002-04-03 07:42:00 | Don't you just love the way the icons arrange themselves after you have dragged them around. Right click within a empty area of the desktop and click on Arrange Icons, in the following menu see if there is a tick in the Auto Arrange and if so remove. Remove any other ticks such as Arrange By Date and Arrange by Date, etc, then have a go at dragging them to there new position and see if they will stay there now. |
