I recently installed Nero and when I rebooted my DVD-Rom and my CDRW drive letters were missing. Device manager shows the yellow exclamation mark - this indicates an error code 41; driver details are the same for both devices. I uninstalled Nero and both drives and re-installed the DVD drive. The error says that it has successfully installed but cannot locate the hardware - error code 41 again. The event log doesn't show anything. I am unable to try re-installing XP as I have no drive - any ideas? |
