41495 2002-04-02 22:25:00 I have an older version of Norton Utilities (Ver 3, I think)that works for me with Win98SE. There is a separate CD for NT/WIN2000.

I have now set my system up to dual boot with Win98 or WinXP in the FAT32 mode.

Question, is it possible to use the Nortons Utilities with WinXP? If so, should I use the Win98 FAT32 setup or should I use the NT/Win2000 setup?

Any help would be appreciated.

Bryan.

41496 2002-04-03 00:11:00 if you are dual boot why don't you just use win98se to do your defrag? Guest (0)
41497 2002-04-03 00:57:00 Defrag is not the problem. There are a number of utilities that I would like to use from the package other than defrag.

What I really need to know is that the utility package is compatable with a WinXP FAT32 setup.

Maybe I should just try and see what happens but do I use the Win98 setup CD or the NT/Win2000 setup CD?
