41771 2002-04-04 08:28:00 Is there anyway of erasing the 'history' of past commands in the run dialog in the start menu?? I know that several software packages can clear it for you, but was wondering how it can be done manualy.

41772 2002-04-04 09:44:00 It would require a registry edit which is not for the faint hearted. Do a search for 'RunMRU'. Guest (0)
41773 2002-04-04 21:29:00 I find that the clear recent documents button seems to do the trick, in Windows 2000 anyway but not sure about others.

I mean the one where you right click the task bar > Properties > Advanced(tab) > Clear. That does recent documents and the run box history at least.
