Has anyone else gone through the stages of: Using ACT as PIM (very fast and reliable for over 2,000 contacts) Using Eudora (can handle all my user accounts/POPs in one hit) Having a client database (in Access97 in my case) which needs referential integrity to multiple companies and thus has several tables of 'contacts' all needing phone/fax/e-mail addresses. I am fed up maintaining mulitple instances of names and addresses and need a single point from which to work and be able to program (VBA/Automation) my business reports/faxes/emails. Outlook is VBA enabled but is so clunky (2,000 contacts in the address book reduces searches to a crawl) and seems not to be able to handle (easily) my single login to my POP account and then get/send my mail for my multiple personalities. Plus - I need to have the information available to 5 users on my peer-to-peer network. Thanks for taking the time to read this headache of mine! Neil Abbott |
