| 41611 | 2002-04-03 12:04:00 | I have Windows ME but do not use or want System Restore. I have disabled System Restore in the File System properties but I cannot eliminate the _RESTORE folder off my C Drive and it continues to grow. At present it is a bloated 90MB. Can anyone help me with a way of removing it or at least a means of trimming it right back? | Guest (0) | ||

I had already disabled System Restore from Troubleshooting in the File System Properties and the _Restore folder on my C drive continues to grow. At one point a _Restore folder appeared on another partition on my hard drive that I use for system & browser caches. The only way I could remove it was by reformatting the E partition. Not a step I wish to take with the C partition. |
