| 42093 | 2002-04-05 13:31:00 | I have had no luck fixing the problem of being able to transfer files using Windows (MSN) Messenger. I am running WinXP Pro and all attempts to do so, even without a firewall running, comes back with the same message your ISP has blocked file transfers... blah blah blah... I can recieve files but not send. My friend also running WinXP Home Ed has the same problem and they recently just got their computer. I've been putting up with this problem ever since I got WinXP. I can't recieve files (obviously) from this person because they too have the same problem. Is there anyway I can fix this without contacting my ISP and asking them what's going on? |

I am using Xtra and if they are at fault then they don't stop transfers from ICQ because that's how I usually do my file transfers. It only seems to be when I've either upgraded my Messenger or I've got XP. It use to work when I used Win2k though I haven't tried it out in a while. |
