| 42033 | 2002-04-05 04:43:00 | I know my aunties computer would benefit from a Defrag, but apparently the last time they done it they 'lost some programs and had to take it into the shop'. I know that they arent very computer minded people, and now they dont want me to, but Im wondering if there ARE any problems related to Defrag. | Guest (0) | ||

To lose programs they must have done something but a doubt a defrag. You don't mention which OS, not winME? they could 'lose' programs so to speak if they used the restore function and went back to a date before the programs were installed |

A regular defrag without this feature turned on won't lose any files or programs. | Guest (0) | ||
