| 1295161 | 2012-08-17 00:42:00 | Yes, go to the site you want and press alt+z Edit. That appears to be unreliable, doesn't always work. Top right corner there should be a star, just click on it to add the site to favourites. |

| 1295162 | 2012-08-17 00:46:00 | Yes I'm on XP at the moment for 7 someone else might need to instruct you; under XP, click the favourites button, next to the add to favourites option is a drop down menu arrow, click it, chose import/export, export to file. Same process but use import to restore from the file or import into another machine. You can also simply locate the favourites folder on your machine and copy it edit: or what Nick said, I thought you meant backing them up :) |

| 1295163 | 2012-08-17 00:50:00 | I have just completed a transfer of my ie favourites from my Win7 desktop to my Win 8 laptop. I found the favourites in C:/Documents and Settings/Bob/Favourites and copied and pasted them onto a USB portable drive that I use for backup. Simple matter to copy and paste the favourites into the same directory on the laptop. It worked for me. Not sure but you may be able to use the import and export in the ie file menu. |
