| 1294518 | 2012-08-14 04:36:00 | What do you mean by "all the apps" ? I'm not sure I follow that. If you want to watch 3D you need both a TV that can receive and display 3D and a Blu-ray player that can decode and send the 3D to the TV, and of course a 3D copy of the movie on Blu-Ray. If you don't care about 3D then any Blu-ray player will do, unless you want to use BD-Live in which case you need one that supports that and it will need an internet connection. I replaced my panasonic Blu-ray with a PS3 (it's currently on the floor under the coffee table while I decide what to do with it). And I must say I'm not sure it was a wise investment. So far I haven't bothered playing games, I don't care about 3D, and I could care less about BD-Live features. It does start up much faster than my old player at least, which took more than a minute. |
