| 1294984 | 2012-08-15 19:58:00 | its really starting to freak me out..i can hear people in the background talking like someone hacked my computer and are playing random music, i can hear them laughing and talking through the music, its like im on chat but there are no windows open. it used to be just ads playing about premiers and other random products. i though i got rid of the problem a week ago because there werent any ads playing anymore but now this? i dont know what to do.. | bekahknows (16867) | ||
| 1294985 | 2012-08-15 20:17:00 | Do you use the curse client for wow add ons at all? I had the add problem and tracked it down to that. I think someone has created a hacked version of the update for it, It took uninstalling curse and scanning with MBAM, Spybot, super anti-spyware, Hitman pro, and MSE to get rid of all the traces and I'm still paranoid I missed something. I think super did the best job but I was tricked on reboot when curse said it needed to update and I let it - the problem came back. That's when I uninstalled curse, but what bothers me is where the update was coming from when it wanted to reinstall. If you don't use curse it's sill worth trying some or all of those programs. |
